About GCS First LEGO League Elementary Robotics

What We Do

We develop skills in engineering, design, research, teamwork, programming, and more through the use of the LEGO Spike Prime robot system.

It is important to note that while we do use LEGO Technic (with some standard LEGO) parts as our "raw materials" for our missions and robots, this is not a LEGO club where we abstractly build or play with LEGOS. We build with purpose.

Competition Season

Competition season (August through December) is reserved for students in grades 4-5. This time is focused exclusively on research, design, and programming.

Post-Competition Season

Post-competition season is the time to relax and have more fun, and includes opportunities for 3rd graders who are interested in GCS FIRST LEGO LEAGUE. During this time we will also explore other STEM-D(esign) related activities.

We are proud to acknowledge that our first two teams excelled at their competition December 3rd, 2022 in Freeland, MI.

The Lego Leaders and Brick Busters both showed up with spirited excitement and represented Genesee Christian School well!
